Portraits that celebrate

who you are right now

boston senior photographeR

When I was a senior, I was dealing with my parents' divorce, struggling with mental health challenges, and felt pretty disconnected from who I used to be. I didn't have a sport or an instrument to hold in photos. Just a messy, uncertain search for who I might become.

I'm telling you this because senior photos aren't about celebrating where you've been or where you're going. They're about who you are right now—not your GPA, not your college acceptance, not your trophy collection. Just you.

Senior year is kind of a big deal. Not just because of graduation or yearbooks, but because it's this fleeting, in-between moment—where you're still figuring things out, but already starting to step into who you're becoming.

High school can feel like a popularity contest where everything's about appearances. These sessions? They're the opposite of that.

"Corey made the photo shoot relaxed and fun. He took lots of time with my daughter and I'm confident that the images will be beautiful."

“I'm confident that the images will be beautiful.”

SENIOR SESSIONS STARTING AT $390

Before we even meet, I'll send you a questionnaire. Not the boring kind that asks about your college plans or what sports you play. I want to know what makes you laugh every time, what you're proud of that wouldn't show up on a resume, how you feel about getting your picture taken.

Most senior photographers ask "what are you into?" and you shrug and say "I don't know." So I don't ask that. I ask how things make you feel. What kind of vibe feels most like you. What would make the whole thing feel relaxed instead of stressful.

I ask different questions.

We're not just standing around posing—we're actually doing stuff. If you play guitar, we'll play guitar. If you're an athlete, we'll do something athletic. If you brought a friend, we'll make ridiculous jokes together. If we're at the farm, you can feed the alpacas and marvel at how ridiculous these sheep-giraffe hybrid goofballs look.

And if all else fails, I can be so utterly lame that you might crack a smile out of sheer embarrassment for how sus I can be. (I don't know if that's even the appropriate usage of the term "sus.")

We keep it active and fun.

I don't box myself into one particular look. I know how to do everything from polished and dramatic to film-inspired to natural light. So if there's a vibe you're going for, we can make it happen.

We might shoot at my family's farm in Lincoln with the alpacas, or we might find somewhere that actually means something to you. The only thing I strongly recommend bringing? A best friend, partner, sibling, or whoever makes you feel at home when you're with them.

Your photos, your style.

Half the time there's nothing visual to work with—no trophy, no jersey, no obvious prop. But there's always something internal. The way you describe yourself. The disconnect between how you seem at school versus how you are with your close friends. What you're dreading about next year or looking forward to about this one.

That's what I'm looking for. And that's what shows up in the photos.

No props needed.

I take the time to understand your personality, goals, and how you want to be seen. I want your photos to feel intentional and aligned, not generic. Whether you're an introvert, extrovert, or  your images should feel like you, not like everyone else.

It’s all about who you are.

"Corey made it easy, collaborative and thoroughly enjoyable. The experience was fun and the final products are super-special."

When to Book
(and Why It Matters)

Fall brings glowing foliage and crisp air, but also a total rush on weekend dates. Spring has blossoms and fresh greens—perfect for grad announcements. Summer means flexible schedules and golden sunset hours. Even winter can be great, especially if you're into a winter sport or love the idea of shooting in the snow.

Whatever season speaks to you, reach out early. Especially if you need images by a certain deadline. The calendar fills up fast—particularly at the farm.

Still have questions?

Can I bring a friend/partner/parent/sibling/pet?

Not only yes, but strongly encouraged. Having someone there who makes you feel like yourself changes the entire vibe of the session.

Do we have to do the shoot at the farm?

Nope. We can shoot anywhere that's special to you—even more than one location for no extra charge.

What if I'm self-conscious about something?

Join the club—literally everyone is. The goal is to help you literally lose yourself for moments during the shoot. That's why we keep it very active and fun, and why bringing a person who brings out the best in you can be clutch. When you're actually doing something or cracking up with your best friend, you forget to be self-conscious.

Can you make my photos look like [specific style]?

Yes. I specialize in a few different styles, but I'm always happy to tweak my editing to match a vibe you're going for. They're your photos—you should love how they look.

How do you handle photoshopping?

I'll edit out flyaway hairs, acne, and distracting things in the background. But I'm not going to change the shape of your body or give you three noses or anything like that. (Though if you want three noses, we should probably have a conversation about your life choices.)

What if the weather's terrible?

We'll reschedule if it's actually dangerous. But overcast skies? Those actually look amazing in photos. I use off-camera lighting to adapt to whatever the natural light gives us. Sometimes the natural light is perfect. Other times it sucks, and that's when I bring in lighting that can either mimic natural light or create more dramatic effects.
